Summer Days With Family

Lately I've been spending just about every weekend at home for one reason or another. It has been fun to spend time with my family!

Max and I had some fun hanging out in my trunk! Because what else was there to do?

Justin, Max, and I spent some time washing the cars and then had a picnic on top of mine ~ Just for fun!

It was Mother's Day not too long ago, and my mom got some M&M's and a new camera

This past weekend Max, Justin and I did some experimental cooking (thank you pinterest), and it all turned out pretty great!
Here are our Koolaid slushies-

Snicker doodles!!! So yummy!

For Memorial Day we had a big family BBQ at a park. Fun stuff!

Justin decided to try out the baby swing- he got stuck haha

April 2012

Wow, has it really been a month?! I have been crazy busy. First of all, I moved out of Wyview and into The Colony. It was actually a lot harder to leave than I thought it was going to be. I forgot about the whole, "Hey new roommates. We met 2 seconds ago, but we're living together now" thing. And the not ever seing a familiar face thing. I'm getting kind of used to it now, but it's still not the same. I feel really unproductive without school, but I will be starting some Independent Study classes here pretty soon so I'll be busy again. Work is still going well and I'll hopefully be able to get some more hours this summer.

I wrapped up all the kids at work and "turned them into worms". They loved it!

Oh Meghan.....This is her being normal

I often look down to find children strapped securely to my legs.

Young Love :)

Oh the bromance of Taylor and Dean hahahaha I miss these 2 already!

Dean's going down!

This was our goodbye party :(

Goodbye Wyview!!! Our apartment looked so naked!

And here's my new room at The Colony!

I've also been home a few times recently for random stuff. Once was for Zak's homecoming and Cody's farewell, another time was for Millie's funeral (a lady I took care of for about a year) and to say goodbye to Melanie Hunter before she heads off to Virginia, and so on.

Here's me, Haley, and Justin just being ourselves....

I was also given the incredible chance to go inside my old childhood house in Springville with Haley, my mom, and Uncle Bob. It was so cool and so much fun! There were definitely a lot of things that had changed about the house (especially considering the fire and all), but some things were still the same and it brought back some really fun memories that I had completely forgotten about. It was also fun to talk to the people who live there now and hear things that their kids do in the house that we used to do. In fact, the hall in the basement now curves in from so many years of kids climbing up it! It was awesome :) Things like sitting at the top of the stairs and having flashbacks to Christmas mornings or touching my old fireplace were thrilling! It was incredible! Here is a picture of me and Haley looking into this mirror in our old bedroom that somehow lasted through the fire. It was weird seing my "grown up" self in it because of all the memories I have of looking into it when I was little. Still, so cool and so much fun!
